Not Included +

To be upfront with you — end of lease cleaning has limits. The following fall outside the scope of our service:

  • Full wall washing or repainting
  • Ceiling stain or mark removal
  • Mould removal
  • Rust removal
  • Permanent stain removal
  • Damage repair

Wall spot cleaning is included for minor marks using gentle methods only. Results depend on paint type and mark severity. MAD Clean does not guarantee full removal and will not attempt cleaning that risks paint damage.

End of lease cleaning — also called bond cleaning or vacate cleaning — is a thorough, professional clean of a rental property at the end of a tenancy. It's designed to return the property to the condition it was in when you moved in, so you can recover your full bond. Most real estate agents have a checklist of requirements, and a professional clean is the most reliable way to meet them.
What is included in the service? +
Our standard service covers living areas, bedrooms, bathrooms, toilets, laundry, kitchen, and all floors. That includes ovens, cooktops, cupboards inside and out, shower screens, toilets, skirting boards, interior windows, and more. See our full inclusions list above for the complete breakdown.
Is carpet steam cleaning included? +
Carpet steam cleaning is available as an add-on service and is quoted separately based on the number of carpeted rooms. When you request your quote, let us know how many rooms have carpet and we'll include it in your pricing.
Do you offer pressure washing? +
Yes. Pressure washing is available as a paid add-on for balconies and outdoor areas. Let us know when you request your quote and we'll include it in your pricing.
Do you offer wall washing? +
Yes. Wall washing is available as a paid add-on, priced based on the condition of the walls. It is not included in the standard clean. Ask us when you request your quote and we'll assess and price it for you.
Do you guarantee the bond back? +
Yes. If your real estate agent or property manager requests a re-clean after our service, we will return within 7 days at no extra cost. Our bond back guarantee is our commitment to the quality of our work. Conditions apply — the re-clean must relate to areas covered in our standard service checklist.
What does the bond back guarantee cover? +
Our guarantee covers the quality of our cleaning work. If your agent is not satisfied with the clean, we'll return within 7 days for a free re-clean. The guarantee does not cover pre-existing damage, stains, or property conditions that existed before we arrived. This is why we photograph every room before and after every job — to protect you and to protect us.
How long does a clean take? +
It depends on the size of the property and its condition. A standard two-bedroom apartment typically takes 4–6 hours. Larger homes or properties in heavier condition may take longer. We'll give you an estimate as part of your quote.
Do you cover my suburb? +
We cover all Sydney suburbs — from the Inner West and Eastern Suburbs to Western Sydney, the Hills District, North Shore, Northern Beaches, South Sydney, St George and the Sutherland Shire. If you're unsure, send us a WhatsApp and we'll confirm straight away.
